In addition to the anecdotes about Elvis as a soldier in the Upper Palatinate in the culture department, since 2021 there has been a room dedicated entirely to the King of Rock’n’Roll in a permanent exhibition.Collector and Elvis expert Wolfgang Houschka from Fensterbach has made his greatest treasures available to the culture and military museum for this purpose.
Rare collectibles such as posters, records, autographs of companions, photos and much more, show the world career of the ever most famous GI in Grafenwoehr. Stops in the new room include the lightning career before his military service, his films and records after leaving the service, and the terrific comeback of 1968
Both die-hard Elvis fans and Elvis newbies will get their money’s worth here and travel back to the wild 50s and 60s!
Let`s rock’n’roll!
The new exhibition was supported by
the State Office for Non-State Museums in Bavaria and the district of Upper Palatinate.
